Sacramento Valley

Sacramento is called a jewel in the sea. Is that true? How will that be possible? Let us see if Sacramento’s other name is true.

Surrounded by trees and buildings is the California’s Capitol Mall. This Capitol Mall encapsulates both commerce and government institutions. Institutions encapsulated are both public and private. The institutions are as follows: Employment Development Department headquarters, Wells Fargo Building, Department of Education, and Sutter Club. Capitol Mall is also a home for variety of world class restaurants and hotels.

In Sacramento’s valley also lies the Sacramento Convention Center. As the name implies, shops, hotels, restaurants, and theaters are packed in this center. Political events, ballet presentation, Sacramento Philharmonic and Jazz Jubilee are also presented in this convention area.

As a saying goes, you have to stop, look, and listen. Why? It is simply because the IMAX Theater and the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament is located just few walks away from the convention center.

Those itineraries will not end your day’s trip. Restaurants and Victorian-inspired houses can also be found midtown Sacramento. Down Sacramento are historic buildings, shopping centers, theaters, government buildings, and Old Sacramento.

With these magnificent areas indeed Sacramento is a jewel on sea.
